Students are expected to check in virtually twice each week. The published policy addresses excessive absences, arrangements for make-up assignments and late arrivals. Two unexcused tardies count as one absence.
Unexcused absences from midterms or finals result in a zero. Excused make-up examinations must be arranged with the professor and completed within one week, unless an exception is approved by the Academic Dean.
For repeated courses, the later grade replaces the earlier lower grade. Withdrawal grades depend on the point in the term and academic performance. Incomplete work normally must be finished within 30 days of the last class day.
The published policy places students below a 2.0 GPA for two successive quarters on probation the following quarter; continued failure to improve can lead to dismissal, with a process for requesting readmission.
Grade reports are issued at the end of a term if financial obligations are met. The published fees are $5 for official transcripts and $3 for unofficial transcripts.
Degree candidates must complete the required curriculum, maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and meet financial obligations. Consult the current catalog for full policies.
