Dr. Candra L. Bethea President and Founder

Dr. Candra L. Bethea is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel. She is married to Elder Allen Bethea and currently reside in Kannapolis, NC.


Dr. Bethea received Christ at the tender age of 9. By the age of 11 she was teaching a weekly bible study to her family and neighborhood children. She has been preaching and teaching the gospel for over 40 years, and has preached, taught and facilitated classes on various subjects across the World.

Dr. Bethea taught Seminary classes at Grace Biblical College, where she now serves as Dean of Academics. Dr. Bethea is a graduate of ECPI University, with a degree in Computer technology. She earned her Master’s degree in Theology and a Doctorate degree in Christian Counseling and Theology from Grace Biblical Seminary. She graduated both years with the honors of Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian. Dr. Bethea received her second Doctoral of Divinity degree from
Partners to the Promise Christian College, August 5, 2023. 

Dr. Bethea is an Educator, Pastor, Mentor, Missionary and Church Planter. She has planted 7 churches and co-founded 3 Christian private schools. She currently serves as Pastor of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, NC. “A place – Where Souls are being Saved, Hearts are being Touched and Families are being Restored.” She also serves as Pastor and Overseer of City of Refuge House of Hope Ministries, Kannapolis, NC. – “A Place of Hope and Safety.”

In April of 2023 Dr. Candra Bethea was Affirmed as an Apostle in the Lord’s Church.Dr. Bethea serves as Overseer over several ministries and leaders. And was recently chosen to be President of the United Christian Clergy of Cabarrus County. Dr. Bethea’s passion is to Equip the Saints for the work of service, to the edifying of the Body of Christ through teaching, training, intercession, deliverance and speaking prophetically as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.

Her favorite two scriptures are Psalms 42:1, “As a deer pants for the water of the brook, so does my soul thirst for you, O God.” Luke 18:1, “Man ought to always pray and not faint.”

Dr. LaJune Gray serves as the Dean of Students at Unity Faith and Truth Bible College, where she is dedicated to fostering a supportive, faith-centered academic environment. With a heart for mentorship and a passion for empowering students to reach their God-given potential, Dr. Gray provides guidance, advocacy, and resources to help learners thrive spiritually, academically, and personally.
Her leadership is marked by compassion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring that each student feels valued and equipped to fulfill their calling. Dr. Gray works closely with faculty, staff, and student leaders to create programs and initiatives that enrich the college experience while upholding the mission and vision of Unity Faith and Truth Bible College.

Rooted in her deep faith and years of experience in Christian education, Dr. Gray is a servant leader who believes in transforming lives through the power of God’s Word and the pursuit of knowledge.
